Expo a Milano è finita, ma Nutrire il pianeta, energia per la vita rimane un tema centrale della nostra esistenza su questo pianeta. L’esposizione universale ci ha lasciato un’eredità da gestire, un discorso da proseguire. Più di venti milioni di persone hanno ricevuto da Expo messaggi spesso contraddittori, ma hanno forse capito che la qualità della loro vita passa in gran parte dalla qualità del loro cibo. E per The Vegetarian Chance questo cibo di qualità non può che essere vegetariano, amico dell’ambiente e di tutti gli esseri viventi. Lanciamo così il bando per la terza edizione del concorso che si terrà a Milano l’11 giugno 2016 e che invita i cuochi a misurarsi sul cibo vegetariano, a proporre le loro ricette, a dar prova della propria professionalità e della propria creatività. La procedura è indicata in un regolamento che prevede la selezione di otto finalisti con due ricette, una della tradizione e una creativa. Quest’anno la data finale per l’adesione è il 15 marzo 2016. Expo in Milan is over, but Feeding the planet, energy for life remains a central matter of our existence on this planet. Expo entrusts us with the task to continue the debate around the food of our future. More than twenty million people received from Expo many contradictory messages, but perhaps they realized that the quality of their life strongly relates to the quality of their food. And according to The Vegetarian Chance this food quality can be only vegetarian, friendly with the environment and all its living beings. Hence we launch the competition notice for the third edition of The Vegetarian Chance contest, that will be held in Milan on 11 June 2016. We invite professional chefs to compete on vegetarian food, to propose their own recipes, to show their skills and creativity. The procedure is indicated by series of rules that foresee a selection of eight finalists with two recipes each, one originating in tradition and the other one inspired by creativity. The deadline for submitting the recipes is 15 march 2016. The competition will be part of the annual festival of The Vegetarian Chance. For information write to: thevegetarianchance@gmail.com
